I have compiled extensive and detailed price guides of the most valuable Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) action figures line-up spanning from 1988-1998. The manufacturers are Playmates for the US releases and Bandai or Takara for the Japan releases.

    This Ninja Turtles Price Guide     is updated regularly to reflect the most recent trending complated sales or auctions at eBay, conventions, and trade shows. Prices are subject to change as the market changes. The price guide includes values for loose, incomplete, sealed, graded 80 and graded 85 values. Any damages noticed on your sealed boxed toys or carded figures will subtract 5-10% for each damage type on sealed toy values.

Mirage Studios licensed the creative properties to the toy manufacturers and sometimes paid for their own releases to be made by Playmates as well. This list is 100% complete for the time being, and it changes all the time depending on current market trends. Prices fluctuate depending on time of year. In 2020, the original Playmates Toys line of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are at an all time high on ebay. However, in 2024, prices have actually decreased after the Economy corrected itself. Pay close attention to any changes in values that have occured in the last 6 months on Ebay.

In the fall of 2019, Season 3 of Netflix's "The Toys That Made Us" kicked off with a very special episode focusing on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, causing prices of vintage toys and comics to rise even higher than ever before. Also in 2019, Peter Laird has retired from signing any Mirage Studios comics and toys that have sold from their archives located at their headquarters in Northhampton, MA. Any toys or comics signed by Peter Laird can be considered quite rare and unobtainable to most collectors.

 



The only known ones to exist! Original 15" tall legacy prototype samples of a plush line in 1989 that never came to be. High quality stitching, wire frame limbs. From Peter Laird's personal collection in his offices. These are the only prototype toys I own and I must say they are super high quality and would have been expensive for sure if ever put into production.
